As the Guest Speaker of the HKICS' Seminar on “Directors & Officers’ Duties in Various Situations”

Our Director of Risk Advisory Services, Mr. Ricky Ho was honored to be invited by the HKICS to speak on the topic of “Directors & Officers’ Duties in Various Situations”. The seminar received a full-house registration with over 200 attendees.

Ricky illustrated the code provision for risk management and internal control, and the pros and cons of adopting in-house and outsourcing internal auditing respectively. He explained the roles and duties of several stakeholders including directors, financial adviser and valuer in a Merger & Acquisition transaction. He also shared the insider information in the related aspects based on his professional industry experience and the update in Corporate Governance Code published by the HKEX.
